We were at the Software Satisfaction Awards last night, at the magnificant Royal Courts of Justice, London.

Here is a report about the event http://www.businesszone.co.uk/topic/cloud-sweeps-sme-software-satisfaction-awards

Arithmo was in line for three awards, Web-based Accounting Software, Small business Accounting Software and Newcomer of the Year.

Although we were pipped at the post in each category, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening in very grand surroundings.  Congratulations to all the winners.

We spoke to loads of people in our industry and we all know that Cloud solutions are gaining ground on traditional accounting software. Last night’s result demonstrates this.

Voting has started for the 2009 business Software Satisfaction Awards. And we are quoted in the publicity for it…

We hope to be up there with the big names in the industry. We are offering something that other companies don’t necessarily have - a system that is focussed tightly on the needs of our users.

Fingers crossed this should be reflected in the voting.
